For a cost of $85.00 per door, we propose to perform professional power pressure
cleaning of your trash chutes TO REDUCE FIRE HAZARD, LESSEN ODORS, PREVENT
ACIDIC DETERIORATION OF THE CHUTE INTERIOR, AND DIMINISH ANY ROACH AND RAT
PROBLEMS. This process will consist of the following steps:
A) If applicable, disconnect the power supply to the compactor and cover the power
pack with plastic for water protection.
B) Open, scrape, wire brush, wash, degrease, tape closed & post “DO NOT OPEN
CHUTE CLEANING IN PROGRESS” signs on all trash intake door during the cleaning
procedure.
Under no circumstances will CHARLESTON SPECIALTIES, INC. be held liable for any
injuryor damage whatsoever if anyone disregards the posted signs on each intake and
opens any door during the cleaning procedure.
C) Using a highly specialized, industrial strength pressure washing system,
repeatedly apply degreasers and cleaning solution to the entire interior chute wall
under pressure to remove the layered accumulations. In no way does CHARLESTON
SPECIALTIES,INC. guarantee the removal of any discolorations or stains on the interior
chute surface of the intake door backs.
D) Power vac any discharge water from the trash/compaction room.
OPTION #1: For a cost of $150, pressure clean trash/compaction room and floor with
degreasing/cleaning solution, remove water/cleaning solution with power vac.
OPTION #2: For a cost of $95, pressure clean compactor intake/hopper throat, ram
face and ram floor using degreaser/cleaning solution and remove spillage with power
vac system.
OPTION #3: For a cost of $50 each, pressure clean trash compactor containers.
Though a prudent reasonable inspection of the chute will be made for rips, tears or
any other defects, Charleston Specialties Inc. will not be held liable for any leaking or
consequential damage of any kind whatsoever under any circumstances due to water
penetration to any area surrounding the trash chute which includes all labor, materials
and applicable taxes.
